Coding agents, agent frameworks, MCP servers, model SDKs, evals, RAG and memory, inference, browser agents, voice, sandboxes, plus agent skills and plugins.
Every number links to its source: GitHub, npm, PyPI, Hacker News or X. Devtoolwatch is independent.
We take a snapshot of every tracked GitHub repo each day. New stars are the difference between snapshots.
npm and PyPI downloads include CI and bots. So we compare each tool with its own 4-week average, not with raw totals.
The Momentum score is the average of four ranks: new stars, stars for the repo's size, added downloads, and download growth beyond the market.
Star jumps that are not backed by forks, downloads or Hacker News are held back until the other signals catch up.
